Dr. Michael Beres
Chiropractor
VA Community Care Network Provider
Dr. Beres is the founder and clinic director of Beres Chiropractic Center, Inc. He earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology from The University of Georgia and his Doctor of Chiropractic from Life University in Marietta, GA. Dr Beres is also a leadership of Columbus graduate and was a rising star for the 5 under 40 award.
His interests and beliefs in chiropractic were sparked while on UGA’s club wrestling team. He had always dealt with chronic back pain and felt that even at a young age it was just part of life. When over the counter pain medication seemed to no longer help the pain, he decided to go visit a local chiropractor. After several visits Dr. Beres began to experience more than just pain relief but increased flexibility along with overall improvement in his health. He began to sleep better, headaches went away: even his seasonal allergies no longer seemed to be a problem. He believes in chiropractic because of his personal experience. Therefore, he desires to help others live pain-free without medicine and/or surgeries.
Dr. Beres is a member of the Georgia Chiropractic Association. He is a licensed and Board-Certified Chiropractor and the only Graston Certified provider in the Columbus area. Dr. Beres is Board Certified in Physiotherapy. He is certified in Rock Tape FMT 1&2 and is a RockDoc. He also has extensive training in Active Release Technique.
Dr. Beres was born and raised in Zebulon, GA. He is married to the former Michaele Mobley of Waverly Hall, GA. They have a daughter and son. They are active members of The River of Life Church where Dr. Beres is a deacon and serves on the production and youth team.
He enjoys watching UGA football especially when they are playing the Auburn Tigers (his wife’s alma mater). His other hobbies include anything outdoors, traveling and spending time with his family and friends.
Thank you for considering Beres Chiropractic Center for your chiropractic needs. We look forward to serving you soon.

Lauren Pechloff
Therapy Assistant
Lauren joined the Beres Team in April of 2025 after graduating from Harris County High School. She’s currently at Columbus Technical College, working on an English teaching degree. Hoping to become a high school English teacher in the future. Even though she’s one of our newer additions to the Beres family, she is no stranger to chiropractic care. Her and her family seek their treatments here at Beres Chiropractic. She has quickly learned her role as Therapy assistant and helps all our patients in their recovery after each adjustment. She will definitely put you at ease with her comforting environment she has created in our therapy areas.
Lauren is passionate about anything related to literature. She can always be found reading a new book in the office, giving patients book recommendations, or talking to new people about her most recent read. Lauren spends as much time as possible with her friends and family-including her pets. With four dogs and two cats, there is always some new story about them to be shared. She uses her experiences to inspire all sorts of writing, ranging from poetry, to short stories, even hoping to go as far as her own novel.
