Dr. Michael Beres
Dr. Beres is the founder and clinic director of Beres Chiropractic Center, Inc. He earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology from The University of Georgia and his Doctorate of Chiropractic from Life University in Marietta, GA.
Dr. Beres’ interest and belief in chiropractic was sparked while on UGA’s club wrestling team. He had always dealt with chronic back pain and felt that even at a young age it was just part of life. When over the counter pain medication seem to no longer help the pain, he decided to go visit a local chiropractor. After several visits to the chiropractor, Dr. Beres began to experience more that just pain relief but increased flexibility along with overall improvement in his health. He began to sleep better, headaches went away; even his seasonal allergies no longer seemed to be a problem. He believes in chiropractic because of his personal experience. Therefore, he desires to help others live pain-free without medicine and/or surgeries.
At Life University Dr. Beres was a member of the cycling team. With his athletic background and love for sports, he enjoys helping athletes of all types overcome sports injuries and improve their overall performance. He served as a volunteer team Chiropractor for Barnett Mill Middle School’s football team while in practice in Peachtree City, GA.
Dr. Beres comes to Columbus from Davis Chiropractic Center, Inc in Peachtree City, GA where he served as an independent Chiropractor. While there he participated in raising awareness and promote donations for Toys for Tots and Samaritan’s Purse food bank. He will work just as hard for local charities in the Columbus area.
Dr. Beres is a member of the Georgia Chiropractic Association. He is a member of the Columbus Chamber of Commerce and has served on their Health Committee. Dr. Beres is a member of the Columbus Chapter of Young Professionals. He is an active member of Bethesda Baptist Church, a Board Certified Chiropractor and is licensed in the state of Georgia. Dr. Beres has also helped raise over ten thousand dollars for local charities. Dr. Beres is the only Graston Certified provider in the Columbus area. He is also Board Certified in Physiotherapy and has been trained in Active Release Technique. He is also certified as a RockTape FMT 1&2 and RockDoc.
Dr. Beres was born and raised in Zebulon, GA. He is married to the former Michaele Mobley of Waverly Hall, GA.
Dr. Beres enjoys watching UGA football especially when they are playing the Auburn Tigers (his wife’s alma mater). His other hobbies include Crossfitting, Triathlons, hunting, golf, traveling and spending time with his family and friends.

Dr. Savannah Gardner
Dr. Savannah is an associate, board-certified Doctor of Chiropractic, here at Beres Chiropractic Center. She earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in human performance from The University of Alabama and her Doctorate of Chiropractic from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Port Orange, FL.
At Palmer College, Dr. Savannah found a passion early on for women’s health and kids. She was involved in their pediatrics and pregnancy club and was voted President by her peers. It was because of her efforts in and outside of school that she was awarded the most prestigious award from her school at graduation – The Clinical Excellence Award. Dr. Savannah went on to further her education and is Webster Certified (click here to read more about this technique). She is also almost finished completing over 200 hours of post-graduate studies in pediatric and perinatal chiropractic care through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA). Savannah is scheduled to complete this certification in December of 2021 and will be one the 7 certified pediatric and perinatal chiropractors in the state of Georgia.
Dr. Savannah was born and raised in Jupiter, FL, and enjoyed offshore fishing and boating as a child. She recently got married and moved to Columbus, GA to join her husband who is currently stationed at Fort Benning as an Infantry Officer in the US Army. Both graduated from The University of Alabama and enjoy rooting for the Crimson Tide. Dr. Savannah also furthers the sport of baton twirling by choreographing, teaching, and judging at local and national level competitions. Together, they enjoy golfing, running, and getting active outside whenever they can with their golden retriever. They both also love snow skiing and travel to Keystone, Colorado as often as they can.
Dr. Savannah sympathizes with her patients that still struggle with pain, even after medical and surgical intervention. Dr. Savannah suffered a tumbling injury in high school, resulting in a spinal fusion surgery of her L5/S1 at the age of 17. With residual pain and a rigorous performance schedule as a Crimsonette at BAMA, Dr. Savannah was in excruciating pain and over-the-counter pain medications weren’t helping anymore. Her athletic trainer recommended a local chiropractor and she immediately saw a significant change in her pain levels, her allergies, and her overall health.
Growing up with a sister that had a rare developmental seizure disorder, Dr. Savannah saw and witnessed every side of the healthcare industry. It wasn’t one health care provider or philosophy that gave her sister a long healthy life. It was a team of experts that were willing to do and provide whatever they could bring to the table. Dr. Savannah is ready to be a part of your team and provide evidence-based chiropractic care to help you not only live pain-free but also achieve your individual health goals.
